This book presents for the first time to the reading public, a new method of managing portfolios, using modern concepts that concern not only the statistical methods of analysis, but mainly the philosophy that governs the way of dealing with the evolution of stock market prices. In particular, the stock market is treated as a thermodynamic system which is governed by chaotic dynamics due to the expectation of the parties involved to obtain monetary benefits. Such a view leads the analyst to adopt, for what is happening in the stock market, a perception of a teleological character, which helps him to understand the structural differences that the specific system undergoes during its evolutionary course. The new methodology, which is called the Synthetic Approach, is a scientific system for processing the available information, which seeks to determine the scaled solvency of companies participating in the stock market, on the basis of which the Solvency Portfolio is drawn up using multivariate data analysis methods.

His book presents the following topics in detail:

a) The necessity of data analysis methods in the study of economic phenomena.

b) the description of multidimensional methods: factor analysis of correspondences, principal component analysis, ascending hierarchical classification, rank analysis, factorial discriminant analysis, hierarchical analysis, inferential statistics which was presented for the first time in Greek common,the KARAP method,the BENKAR method ,the Complex Hierarchical Classification and the Generalized Hierarchical ClassificationN.

c) Through the pages of the book emerges the connection between principles and laws of Physics and the principles that govern the methods of Multivariate Statistical Analysis which is evident when you look at chapters II and X, being a valuable aid for every researcher.

This book consists of two parts:

In the 1st part, applications of all multidimensional factorial methods, such as Factorial Analysis of Correspondences, Ascending Hierarchical Sorting, Principal Component Analysis, Factorial Discriminant Analysis, Statistical Induction, Hierarchical Analysis, are presented in detail, so that the reader can understand in in depth the usefulness of these methods, but also which methods he should apply depending on the data he wants to process.

In the 2nd part, the instructions for using the MAD Statistical Package for Windows, which implements the aforementioned methods of multidimensional statistical analysis, are presented in detail and with examples.

This book aims to introduce every interested investor to the stock market concepts and stock portfolio management methods used by stock market insiders, so that he can independently evaluate the information he collects and formulate his own his investment strateg.
